She was predeceased by: her parents, James Skinner and Maude Skinner; her husband Montford Chislett; her parents-in-law, William and Mary Chislett; her son Carter Chislett; her siblings, Bill Skinner, Reuben Skinner (Betty), Susie Bennett (Fred), Cassie Spicer (Henry) and Mary Strickland (Lewis); and her sister-in-law Betty Skinner.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Loader (Brian) of Rose Blanche, NL, Joan Young (Ephriam) of Port, Gary Chislett (Ramona) of Dartmouth, NS, Bernice Osmond (Carl) of Port, Eric Chislett (Charlene) of Burnt Islands, NL and Tracy Chislett of Port; her daughter-in-law Annie Chislett of Rose Blanche, NL; her grandchildren, Carolyn, Rowena, Wayne, Mark, Karen Ann, Ryan, Laura, Tasha, Riley, Amy, Madison and Landon; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Katie, Carly, Mackenzie, Ethan, Catelin, Matthew, Julia, Tristan, Sebastion, Patrick, Spencer, Ashley, Issac, Lynsey, Dawson and Joey; her sister Lillian Hatcher of Port; and her sister-in-law Dolly Skinner of Sydney, NS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
