Ella King Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella King (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Keeping and Flora Keeping; her husband Maxwell Clyde King; her parents-in-law, Edward King and Mary King; and her siblings, Arthur (Sara), Blandford (Sadie), Cyril (Emma Jane), Maggie (Fred), Margaret (Roy) and Baby.

She is survived by: her children, Flora Simms (Bert), Margaret Spracklin, Maxwell King (Jaqueline) and Enid Strickland; her grandchildren, Kimberly Simms, Karen Simms, Kathy Fillier (Darren), Lloyd Strickland (Wendy), Jennifer Strickland, Paul King (Anne) and Paula Krats (Ed); her great grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany Pieroway, Ryan, Joel and Marcus Krats; and her close friend Mable Lemoine.
