He is survived by: his wife Margaret Samms; his daughter Vanessa Samms of Doyles, NL; his daughter-in-law Carol Ann Samms; his grandchildren, Joshua Samms of Bowmanville, ON and Kristen Samms of Bowmanville, ON; his brothers, Charles Samms (Janine) of Smithville, ON, Wallace Samms (Alicia) of Millville, NL, Francis Samms (Valery) of Millville, NL and Carl Samms (Corinne) of Port Colbourne, ON; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph MacIsaac (Ann) of Doyles, NL, Peter MacIsaac (Marlene) of Stephenville, NL, Sheila Crawley (Patrick) of Holyrood, NL, Mary Rankin of Ottawa, Bernadette Carmanico (Joe) of Ottawa, Margaret MacIsaac of Upper Ferry, NL and Jackie MacIsaac of Carmanville, NL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many many friends.
Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in memory of Eli can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
