He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedley Kitchen and Elizabeth Kitchen; his daughter Susan Morayniss; his siblings, John Kitchen and Margaret Thorne; his sister-in-law Jennifer Kitchen; and his mother-in-law Minnie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Judy Campbell (Melvin) of Barrie, Janice Kitchen and Sharon MacNeil; his brothers, Hubert Kitchen of St. John, Harold Kitchen (Grace) of Baddeck and George Kitchen (Mary) of Robinsons; his sister-in-law Geraldine Kitchen of St. John; his close friends, Bernice Hodder, Wade Hodder and Joe Bruce; and also, George Thorne of Grand Falls, Aubrey Brown (Cassie) of Trinity and Roger Brown (Sharon) of Kitchener. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
