Clara Hatcher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Hatcher (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Florence Hatcher; her parents, Matthew Courtney and Hilda Courtney; her husband Gordon Hatcher; her close friend Jack Elms; and her siblings, Robert Courtney (Sarah), Thomas Courtney and Bessie Seymour (Reg).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shirley Gullage (Wayne) and Neita Billard (Jerry); her great grandchildren, Gordie Billard, Joy Skinner (Shawn), Christopher Gullage (Krista Harding), Stephen Gullage (Joanne Cox) and Kaileigh Skinner; and her sister Shirley Avery. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Clara's memory can be made to the Hillside Haven Cemetery Committee.
