It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Belle Matthews (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Voutier and Beatrice Voutier; and her siblings, Tom, Cyril, Don, Wilfred and Dorthy.

She is survived by: her husband Rex; her children, Brian Matthews (Marilyn), Deborah (Bruce) and Sharon (Gary); her grandchildren, Matty, Garrett and Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Kenya and Summer Rose; and her siblings, Clyde, Roy (Linda) and Olive. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
