She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles and Alice Joseanne Osmond; her husband John Cecil Gillam; her son Bruce Gillam; her grandson Travis McNeil; her siblings, John Charles, William, Dorothy, Francis (James), Olive (Abraham) and Alice (Wilson); her brother-in-law Fredrick; and her son-in-law Wayne Leamon.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie (Della), Willie (Beat), Joanne, Danny (Karen), Gary (Kathy), Don (Yvonne), Pauline (Rick), Arch (Janice), Perry (Rhonda) and Amanda (Paul); and her sister Viola. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gertie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
