She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strickland and Frances Strickland; her husband James; her granddaughter Francine; her sister Jessie Nippard (Archibald); and her brother-in-law Howard Ingram.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Strickland (Calvin), Louise Seaward (William) and Jack Courtney (Wanda) of Port; and her siblings, Alfreda Ingram of Port, Leslie Strickland (Marion) of Port, Aubrey Strickland (Harriett) of Port, Levi Strickland (Margaret) of Port and Annie Bartlett (Lewis) of Jeffrey's, NL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, there will be a private family viewing at East Haven Funeral Home which will be followed by a private family graveside service on Wednesday, May 20th, 2 pm at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway, NL officiated by Lieut.
