He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Brinson and Ada Brinson; and his siblings, Guy, Darcus (Sidney), Jack and Allen (Frances).
He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Everett, Ellen and Evan (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Reannah, Isiah, Noah and Wilson; his siblings, Sidney and George (Mary); and his sister-in-law Vera.
