He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Hale and Joyce Hale of Change Islands; his brother Woodrow; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Hilda LeDrew; his children, Juanita (Roger), Eugene (Roseanne) and Derek (Peggy); his grandchildren, Jordan (Mackenzie), Melody (Todd), Kaitlyn (Brady) and Stephen (Felicia); his great grandchild Saylor; his sisters, Cavelle (Wayne) and Judy (Bruce); and his sister-in-law Donna. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Donations in Nelson's memory may be given to The Twillingate Volunteer Fire Dept.
