It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Burt of Carters Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Gertrude (Daisy); his sons, Ted and Bruce; and his siblings, Evelyn (Ralph), Elsie (Frank), Lillian and Elmo.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Curtis; his children, Malcolm (Betty), Juanita Gidge (Don), Bessie Boyde (Gerald), Carson (Glennis), Loretta Burt (Ivan), Eric (Ida), Annette Burt (Art), Harold (Vivian), Golda Ings (Danny), Bonnie White (Eric) and Craig (Janice); and his siblings, Mark Burt and Arlene Keats (Clayton). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there will be a private family viewing followed by a graveside service on Wednesday.
