He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedley Hawkins and Blanche Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Eric (Sharon), Cyril (Sharon), Roy, Lesa Ings (Garfield) and Craig; his grandchildren, Jessica Verasami (Peter), Kaitlin Hawkins, Jessica Young (John) and Jasmine Ings; his great grandchild River Young; and his brother Albert (Ruby).
Donations in Gerry's memory may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society.
