He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Devereaux and Alphonsus Devereaux; his brother Paul Devereaux; his nephew Jerrett Devereaux; and his brother-in-law Jerry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Devereaux; his son Chad Devereaux (Colleen) of Mount Pearl; his stepson Dillon Simms of Carrmanville; his grandchildren, Dawson Devereaux and Ryland Goodyear; his siblings, Ambrose Devereaux (Jessie) of Bonavista, Fon Devereaux (Brenda) of Ontario, Rob Devereaux (Angela) of Glenwood, Gary Devereaux (Dianne) of Ontario, Violet Bernard (Ron) of Ontario and Mary Devereaux of Gander; his parent-in-law Boyde Gillingham (Doreen) of Carmanville; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Parsons (Rob) of Alberta.
