He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorman Sheppard and Doris Sheppard of Carmanville; his siblings, Joan Sargent (Sheppard) and George Sheppard; his significant other Beulah Harnum; his children, Jason Sheppard (Bev Sheppard), Colleen Eddy (Ivan Eddy), Karen Slade (Philip Slade), Trevor Sheppard (Amanda Sheppard) and Jeff Sheppard (Amy Sheppard); his grandchildren, Ashlyn Dubetz (Dakota Dubetz), Channon Manuel (Jenna Manuel), Heidi Hunt (Cody Hunt), Garrett Slade, Charity Slade, Spencer Sheppard, Breanne Sheppard, Keagan Sheppard and Michael Sheppard; and his great grandchildren, Conner Manuel, Austin Manuel, Emma Manuel, Bria Hunt and Kesler Hunt.

Following Covid-19 restrictions visitation will take place on Wednesday 2-5.
