He was predeceased by: his sons, Leroy and Dwayne; his grandson Dwayne; his children-in-law, Deborah and Johnny; his brothers, Cluney and Michael; his close friend Clarence Goodyear; and his parents, Annie Gillingham and Herbert Gillingham.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Timothy (Shirley), Doreen Atwood, Geraldine Forward (Danny), Rod (Roxie), Betty (Rodney) and Eric (Kelly); and his siblings, Violet (Earl), Susie Goodyear, Beulah Hicks (Roland), Marilyn Coles, Sandra (Craig), Rowena (Gilmore), Baxter (Effie), Eugene (Doreen), Kevin (Viola), Randy (Marie) and Gerald. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
