With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wm George Crane in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Glenys Emerson (Christopher); his parents, William Crane and Katie Crane; his sisters, Julia, Gladys and Susie; and his great-uncle Mose.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Georgina Wells (Daren) and Glenn (Terri); his grandchildren, Katie, Kathleen, Brady, Bella and Alexis; his siblings, Mose (Kathy), Violet (John) and Mary (Don); and his caregivers, Stacey Drodge and Judy Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Noel's Funeral Home (21 Harvey St, Harbour Grace, NL A0A2M0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the George Crane Memorial Fund, c/o Noel's Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
