We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, at the age of 83, Shirley M. Evely of Carbonear, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Forward and Lucy Forward. She is survived by: her children, Kerry (Elizabeth), Kenneth (Jackie), Curtis and Douglas (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Kerri Ann (Tim), Kenneth (Lisa), Joshua (Justine), Alicia and Parker; her great grandchildren, Abbie, Kate, Tessa, Ellie, Rodney and Noah; and her siblings, Jim (Lilly) and Betty.
A reception was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (31 Powell Dr, Carbonear, NL A1Y 1A5). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Shirley M. Evely Memorial Fund.
