She was predeceased by : her son David; her parents, John Skehen and Mary Skehen; and her siblings, Bernard (Sue), Jack (Florella), Patrick (Joan), WIlliam (Margie) and Ann Marie (Duncan).

She is survived by : her children, Geraldine (Terry), Brian Mcgrath (Alona), Leslie (Suzanne), Gary, Paul (Julie) and Bill Somerton; her grandchildren, Erin, Cameron, Kayla, Jonathan, Sheena, Taylor, David, Damien, Natasha, Meagan, Paul Joseph Jr. and Christian; her great grandchildren, Avery Grace, Quinton, Benjamin, Ethan, Tyler, Jackson, Courtney, Liam, Ava and Mya; and her siblings, Alphonsus (Frances), Joan (Norm), Mary and Irene.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Noel's Funeral Home (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
