James left this world on June 30, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jordan Pike and Elizabeth Pike; his brother Frank; his sister-in-law Bernice; and his son-in-law Bob Porter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn (Darren), Rachelle (Ray) and Robyn (David); the mother of his children Florence Button; his grandchildren, Peter (Arielle), Katie (Jacob), Robert, Luke, Ava and Keira; his siblings, Carol (Max), Donna (Bill), Dan (Glenda) and Juanita (Gerry); and his close friend Greta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the TCP Health Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 6th Floor, Carbonear General Hospital.
