We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024, at the age of 75, Catherine Ann James (Carbonear, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Minnie James; her husband Clayton; her grandson Ryan; her parents, Mose Galway and Bridget Galway; her siblings, Mose Galway, Bride Galway (John) and Gerald Galway; her parents-in-law, Archibald and Julia James; and her siblings-in-law, Bill James, Annie Penney (Sam), Marjorie Thorne, Jean Jones and Ted Lush.
She is survived by: her daughters, Juanita Collins (Ron), Tammy James (Douglas), Tanya McCarthy (Paul) and Goldie Purcell (Tyson); her grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Kayla, Aaron, Caitlyn, Amy, Nicholas, Julia and Ronald; her great grandchildren, Skylar Laracy and Ruby Milley; her sister Eileen Lush; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Mercer (Sid), Gloria Roberts, Rosalind Galway, Bill Thorne and Melvin Jones As.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her loving memory to the Alzheimer's Society.
