She was predeceased by: her parents, George Efford and Bella Efford. She is survived by: her husband Ed Hayes; her children, Darryl Kirby (Deborah), Kim Hanlon (Jeff), Neil Kirby (Cynthia), Gerry Hayes (Rebecca) and Laura Hayes; her grandchildren, Zachary, Makenna, Julie, Michael, Katie, Alexander, Connor and Averie; her siblings, Eric Efford (Rosemary), Beverley Efford (Perry) and George Efford (Cathy); her siblings-in-law, Carol Efford, Mary Hayes, Elizabeth Hayes, Carmal Hayes, Bill Hayes, John Hayes, Pat Hayes (Donna) and Mike Hayes (Linda); her close friends, Cathy Ivany, Gerry Ayre and Shirley Dawe; and her siblings, Dale Efford (Rita) and Wayne Efford.
A reception was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (45 L. T. Stick Dr, Bay Roberts, NL A0A). A prayer was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory to the Salvation Army.
