He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dalton and Hannah Dalton; his grandson Aaron Clowe; and his siblings, Cyril, James, Brendan, Michael, Hetty Walsh, Margaret Ryan, Ella Erwin and Joanie Leeds.

He is survived by: his wife Gertrude; his children, Helen (Brian Clowe), Tina, Cyril (Michelle), Paula (Clyde Harvey) and Jamie; and his great grandchildren, Eileen Dalton, Edmund Oates and Ted Mercer.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fahey's Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Our Lady of the Cape RC Cemetery.
