He is survived by: his children, Ben Prouse (Judy) of Middle Arm, NL, Navin Young (Bonita) of Burlington, NL, Kirk Young (Sheila) of Burlington, NL, Deano Young of Burlington, NL, Tina Thomas (Clem) of Deer Lake, NL and Jennifer Whelan (Mervin) of Smith's Harbour, NL; his grandchildren, Natasha (Eric), Ryan, Lucas, Brandon (Irish), Carrie (Tylar), Sydney, Samuel (Joelle), Callie, Sarah and Matthew; his great grandchild Lillian; and his siblings, Willis Young (Audrey), Stewart Young (Bernice) and Dulcie Kelly.
