He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Synard and Mary Synard; and his brothers, Kenneth, Edward, Gordon, Joseph and Jerry Synard (Erlita).
He is survived by: his sons, Colton Synard of St. John's and Billy Synard of Bay L'Argent; his siblings, Elizabeth Pawson (Allan), Angela Moreau (Ronald), Marjorie Synard Hundal (David) of South Carolina, Donna Rogers (Chris) of Paradise, Ambrose Synard (Mary), Alonzo Synard (Lucy) of Parker's Cove, Norman Synard (Davina) of Parker and Clayton Synard (Carol) of Philippines; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Synard and Caroline Synard of Brigus South.
