He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Kirby and Mary Kirby; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Charlotte Evans; his wife Edith; his son William; his grandson Robert Brennan; and his sister Dorothy Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry (Muriel) of St. John's, Alvin (Betty) of Burin, Wade (Lynn) of Burin, Ford (Ericka) of Marystown, Lois Brennan (Mike) of Marystown, Trudy Lambe (Glenn) of St. John's and Paula Walsh (Daryl) of St. John's; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon Baker and Mildred O'Neil.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove.
