Verlie Farewell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlie Farewell of Burin, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 15, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Pike and Thursa Pike; and her sister Margaret Beazley. She is survived by: her husband Charles; her children, Wayne (Vivian) of Creston-South, Sylvia Montroy of Creston-South and Lisa Farewell (Ben) of Burin; her grandchildren, Calvin Farewell, Sharon Connors (Dion) and Crystal Montroy; her great grandchildren, Tyson Farewell, Logan Connors, Ella Montroy and Heidi Connors; and her siblings, Hattie Foote and Frank Pike.

Donations in her memory may be made to Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank cuddle bed fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
