He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Brown and Mary Brown; his siblings, Thomas and Theresa; and his brothers-in-law, Dick and George.
He is survived by: his significant other Annie; his daughters, Kimberley (Peter Healey) of St. John, Dawn (Isaac) of Burin, Mary-Lynn (Rodney) of Mount Pearl and Sharon (Darryl) of Strathmore, Alberta; his grandchildren, Brittany, Felicia, Cory, Cody, Matthew, Aurora and Zoey; his great grandchildren, Jagger, Parker and Winter; and his siblings, Marion, Meta (Tom), Rose, Fred (Agnes), Alex (Shirley) and Phil (Emily).
