It is with great sadness that the family of the late ROGER POWER of Jacques Fontaine announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday, February 3 rd , at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Jessie of 47 years; son, Billy Power (Corina) of Medicine Hat, AB; daughters, Tanya Morin (Robert) of Angus, ON, Leanne Power (John Fisher) of Brooks, AB; sisters, Louise Banfield of St. Bernard's, Sharon Bennett (Wayne) of St. George's; brothers, Reg (Bernadette) Power of Southern Harbour, Carl (Betty) Power of St. Bernard's, Dave (Norma) Power of St. Bernard's, George (Charlene) Power of St. Bernard's, Victor Power (Dianna Kendell) of St. Bernard's, George (Marjorie) Hynes of Marystown; 4 grandchildren: Gregory, Donavan, Jessica & Jillian; brother-in-law, Steve White of Trepassey; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by parents, George & Bridget Power; sister, Theresa White. Cremation has taken place. The Power Family will be accepting visitors at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard's on a date and time to be announced; from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on a date and time to be announced.
