She was predeceased by: her former husband Gabriel Fitzpatrick; her parents, Ernest Papail and Kathleen Papail; and her siblings, Amelia Cull, Eugene and Terrance Papail.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Lundrigan; her children, Ernest Fitzpatrick, Shawn Fitzpatrick (Lorna), Philip Fitzpatrick (Trudy), Louis Fitzpatrick (Tracey), Evelyn Benteau (Tom), Linda Fitzpatrick and Juanita Parsons (William); and her siblings, Mary Beck, Ruby Williams, Darlene Sears and Louis Papail.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church (207 Main St N, Dilworth, MN 56529). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Elizabeth's R. C. Cemetery.
In Melinda's memory donations may be made to Lord's Cove Cemetery/Church maintenance fund, no flowers by request of the family.
