He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jessie; his daughter Emily; his son-in-law Khaira of St. John's; his mother Eloise of Winterland; his sisters, Kathy (James) of Edmonton and Marjorie (Brian) of Winterland; his siblings-in-law, Angie (Paul) of Winterland, Ellen (Clar) of Creston and Isaac (Emma) of Jean de Baie; his nieces and nephews, Melissa (Nick), Tyanna (Brandon), Chris, Tyler, Matthew (Valleena), Trent (Alexandra) and Clarke; his great-niece Toni; his great-nephews, Kai, Jaxon and Robert; his close friends, Fred, Marlyese and Junior; his father Reuben; his brother Tony; his cousins, Wade and Lily; and his grandparents, Frank, Lily May Collins, Richard and Susie Newport.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Serenity Chapel (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0).
