He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Shave and Annie Shave; his brother Clyde Shave; and his grandson Aiden Babb. He is survived by: his wife Effie; his children, Rick Shave (Sharon) of Calgary, AB, Judy Nickerson (Perry) of Middle Sackville, NS, Bonnie Foote (Chris) of Burin and Kim Shave (Howard Babb) of Kanata, ON; his grandchildren, Tammy Nickerson, Daniel Foote, Kassi Shave and Kyle Shave; and his sisters, Glenda Brake (Clar) of St. John and Claudine Kennedy (Arch) of St. John.
In Lester's memory, donations may be made to Zion United Church Cemetery Fund or US Memorial Health Care Centre.
