He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Burry and Catherine Burry; his parents-in-law, Bert and Alice Butler; his brothers, Edgar Burry and Terry Burry; his siblings-in-law, George Burton, Rodney Butler and Lorraine Butler; and his nephew Bert Butler.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Morgan Burry (Lesley) of Burin, Catherine Noseworthy (Greg) of Fort McMurray and Terry Burry (Holly) of Burin; his grandchildren, Andrew, Miranda, Ryan, Emily, Riley and Darcy; his siblings, Winston Burry (Barbara) of Gander, Wayne Burry (Mary) of Greenspond, Bruce Burry (Judy) of Gambo, Randy Burry (Susan) of Portugal Cove, Raymond Burry (Wanda) of New Brunswick, Edna Burton of Gander and Glenys Carter (Baxter) of Greenspond; his sisters-in-law, Daphne Burry of Greenspond, Donna Burry of St. John's and Meeka; and his niece Victoria.

No flowers by request of the family and in Leslie's memory donations may be made to the Burry Family.
