He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Baker and Margaret Baker; his siblings, John, Carlson and Sylvia Moulton; his parents-in-law, Frank and Udavilla Inkpen; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Collier, David Inkpen, Frank Inkpen, Donald Hodder, Lorna Moulton, Joan Hodder and Rebecca Inkpen.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Scott (Paula), Joan (John) and Anita (Jobrey); his grandchildren, Dustin (Gabrielle), Michelle, Kayla, Karen, Dylan (Kathleen) and Darryl; his great grandchild Emmie; his sister Suzanne (Austin); and his siblings-in-law, Nelson (Leta), Sam, Frances Collier, Edna Inkpen and Gertie Baker.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Serenity Chapel (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). The inurnment was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the United Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leroy's memory may be made to the Hope United Church.
