John William Planke Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2021, John William Planke (Burin, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son George (Glenda) of Burin; his siblings-in-law, Levi Barnes (Eliza), Ches Barnes (Geraldine), Jerry Barnes, Hubert Barnes, Julia Randell (Tom) and Sadie Skinner (Willy); his parents, William Planke and Alice Planke; his parents-in-law, George and Emily Barnes; his brother Bert; his son-in-law Elvis; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin and Allister.

He is survived by: his wife Ida; his daughters, Sadie Lundrigan (Danny) of Port, Bras and Roxanne Regular (Craig) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Christian, Michael, Aleasha and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Layla and Allen; and his siblings, George (Blanche), Wayne (Lois) and Sybil Kennedy.

In keeping with Covid regulations the family will be accepting family and friends on Tuesday, October 19th from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
