He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachael Thomas and Herbert Thomas; and his siblings, Linda Morey, Shirley Blanchard, Delsie Fudge and Glenn Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Jason of Fort McMurray, AB, Lisa Thomas (Nash Tobin), Krista Sampson (Albert) and Creston North; his sisters, Beatrice Hynes and Grand Fall-Winsor; his sister-in-law Jean Thomas; his brother John Thomas (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Nathan, Victoria and Angel; his great grandchildren, Macy-Rae and Jack; and also La Scie.
In lieu of flowers, donations, in Gerald's memory, may be made to the family.
