He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty; his children, Rodney (Elaine), Lloyd (Cathy) of Epworth, Wade of Epworth and Lorna (Randy Turpin) of Great Salmonier; his grandchildren, Justin Mayo, Michelle Mayo (Williams), Dylan Mayo, Andrew Mayo, Brandon Mayo, Joshua Turpin and Jenny Turpin; his great grandchildren, Taylor-Rae, Anna-Marie, Nelson and Christopher; and his sister Alfreda (William Grandy).
In lieu of flowers, in George's memory donations may be made to The Gathering Place, St. John's.
