He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert and Loretta Welsh; and his close friend Sherry Laite. He is survived by: his daughters, Shauna Power (Matthew) and Donna Rae Loder (Chris); the mother of his children Tanya Burt; his grandchildren, Sean Patrick, Nora and Nolan; his brothers, Jim Welsh (Velda) and Don Welsh (Dianne); and his nieces and nephews, Craig, Christa, Jennifer, Jason, Ryan, Zachary and Lily.
