She was predeceased by: her parent Isaac Bennett; her children, Dean and Valerie; her brother George Bennett; and her siblings-in-law, John Drake and Gloria Mayo.
She is survived by: her parent Hilda Bennett; her husband Eldon of Port; her daughters, Nellie (Steve) of Mount Pearl, Tina of Port and Bras; her granddaughter Justina of Mount Pearl; her sisters, Sarah Drake of Burin, Rosie Pardy (Clarence) of Port and Bras; her goddaughter Valerie Pardy of Red Deer; and her siblings-in-law, Freeman Mayo of Burin, Gerald Mayo (Glynda) of Big Salmonier, Bill Mayo (Vera) of Ontario, Tom Mayo, Eric Mayo (Marie) of Ontario, Sheila (Levi) of Ontario, Mabel (Nick) of Mortier, Yvonne (Alvin) of Marystown, Bernice Beazley of Burin, Irene Brewer of Burin Bay and Muriel Mayo of Ontario. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
