She was predeceased by: her husband William; her parents, Nelson Denty and Esther Denty; her siblings, Calvin, Herman, Clyde, Mason (Ethyl), Otto, Alvin, Ruby King (Tom) and Lavina Skinner; her half-brothers, George Denty (Edith), Charlie Denty (Marjorie), Nelson Denty (Madge) and Tom Denty (Rita); and her sister-in-law Maud Miller (Manuel).
She is survived by: her son Alvin Sheppard (Cindy) of Gander; her grandchildren, Dennis (Stephanie) of Winterland and Danielle Savoury (Cameron) of Fort McMurray; her great grandchildren, Kasen, Khye and Amelia; her sisters, Rhonda King of Brookside and Vera West of Bridgewater, NS; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Denty of Brooks, AB, Marina Denty of Carbonear and Carl Skinner (Marjorie Keeping) of Paradise.
In lieu of flowers, in Bessie's memory, donations may be made to The Sheppard family to distribute to charities of their choosing.
