He is survived by: his children, John (Shannon) of Halifax, NS, Cindy Brenton (Jim Mallay) of Portugal Cove and Gayle Brenton-Smith (Glenn Smith) of Portugal Cove; his grandchildren, Zachary, Mackenzie, Ryan and Nicholas; his siblings, Joe Brenton (Shirley), Frank Brenton (Denise), Earl Brenton (Brenda), Joan Slaney (Bob), Margaret Haskell and Helen Slaney; his siblings-in-law, George Dober, Frank Dober (Dianne), Mary Smith and Jessie Dober; his brother Franklin; his wife Helen; his niece Megan Farrell; his sister-in-law Betty Farrell; and his friends, Jim Mallay and Glenn Smith.
