She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Drake; her parents, Richard Newport and Susie Newport; her siblings, Meta Cumben (Tom), Susie Walters (Elmer), Phyllis Walsh, Julia Lee (Jake), Reuben Newport and Obediah Newport (Roberta); her parents-in-law, Patrick and Ida Drake; and her siblings-in-law, Lucy Pittman, Gladys Drake, Issac Drake (Irene), Leonard Alexander and Gerry Alexander.
She is survived by: her brother Lorne Newport (Anne) of Winterland; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Walsh of Marystown, Leon Drake (Karen) of Frenchman's Cove, Kevin Drake (Sadie) of Frenchman's Cove, Patrick Drake (Nancy) of Frenchman's Cove, Eloise Newport of Winterland, Madonna Cluett (Wilson) of Frenchman's Cove and Loretta Alexander of Port.
