He is survived by: his children, Baxter of Burin, Ruby Hodder (Alvin) of Mount Pearl and Elizabeth Gill of St. John; his friend Clotilda Wareham of Burin; his children-in-law, Robert Gill of Kelligrews and Debra Bolt of Gaspe, Quebec; his grandchildren, Andre, Nicole, Pamela, Maegan, Kimberly, Arlene, Bettina and Darcy; and his siblings, Clarence Bolt of Arnold's Cove and Molly Snow of Halifax.

Donations in his memory may be made to Burin or Marystown Food Bank.
