He was predeceased by: his parents, Verner Broomfield and Elizabeth Broomfield; and his in-laws, Albert and Eleanor Kenway. He is survived by: his wife Christine Broomfield; his children, Andy Broomfield (Andrea) and Amanda Broomfield (Warren); his siblings, George Loughin (Laura), Jean Clarke (John) and Ann Newport (Lorne); his brothers-in-law, Morley Kenway (Nancy), Albert Kenway (Sherry) and Ches Kenway (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Kennedy Broomfield, Cruz Broomfield and Andi Rae Belliveau.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Grace United Church. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the United Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace United Church Cemetery Fund, a cause close to Bill's heart.
