He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nikki; his son Blake; his parents, Earlene Butler and Edward Greene; his siblings, Scott Kettle (Erica), Keshia Butler and Chantal Kavanagh; his grandparents, Wilson and Viola Kettle; his nieces and nephews, Carter, Brooke Evans, Tanner, Willow Kettle, Paizley and Chase Lockyer; his parents-in-law, Randell and Cathy Evans; his brother-in-law David Evans (Glynda); his grandparents, Bertram and Alice Butler; his uncle Rodney Butler; and his pet Darcy. He was also cherished by Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends.

In Bert's memory, any donations will be shared among Blake's education fund, the Burin Softball Field for completion of the mini diamond, and the Burin SPCA.
