She was predeceased by: her husband Guy; her parents, Ernest Brenton and Irene Brenton; her parents-in-law, Ladner and Mildred Broydell; and her brothers, Tommy, Jimmy (Clyde), Wayne and Frank.

She is survived by: her children, Derek Broydell (Ruth), Dwayne Broydell (Myrna) of Burin and Diane White (Kevin) of Burin; her grandchildren, Denise Broydell-Robertson (Kevin) of Holyrood, Keegan Broydell, Ryder Broydell and Felicity White; her great grandchild Jessica Robertson; her siblings, Ruby Taylor, Joan Brenton (Andrew) and Joe Brenton (Violet); and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Brenton, Judy Brenton, Arlene Broydell, Mildred English and Wallace Broydell (Grace).
