She was predeceased by: her husband Emmanuel Young; her son Bradley Young; her parents, Simeon Spencer and Josephine Spencer; her parents-in-law, Phoebe and Jacob Young; her siblings, Simeon, Vera, Edith, Frank, Jack, Thelma, Cecil, Annie, Marilyn and Ruby; and her granddaughters, Crystal McCarthy and Candace Marks.
She is survived by: her children, Phoebe (Gordon), Perry (Cindy), June (Hubert), Yvonne (Lloyd), Edward and Michael (Tracy); her grandchildren, Vicki, Andy, Amanda, Valene, Vanessa, Lori, Robyn, Jeff, Tim, Kerri, Philip, Kristen, Natasha, Hope, Rebecca, Bradley, Anisa, Gabrielle, Begotte and Caleb; and her sisters, Hilda (Mike), Maisie (Norman), Beatrice (Frank), Doris (Gerald) and Eileen. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
