Lloyd Wheat Barrett Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Wheat Barrett of Buchans, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel (Cora); his siblings, June, Pansy, Gwen, Bertha, Elsie, Jellicoe, Raymond, Ralph and Reginald; his parents, George Barrett and Emma Ginn; and his grandson Clinton Ralph.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jeff (Bev), Jaye and Michael (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Bailey, Anthony (Whitney), Shelby, Taylor, Hannah, Westyn and Wrenley; and his grandchildren, Colleen Barrett, Betty Pearce, John Thoms and George Barrett.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Oram's Funeral Homes - Glovertown (17 Main St S, Glovertown, NL A0G2L0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
