He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Rideout and Evelyn Rideout (Vera Rideout); his son Bruce Rideout; and his siblings, Melvin Rideout, Aubrey Rideout, Clarence Rideout, Florence Piercy and Olive Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Boyd Rideout (Carol), Barry Rideout (Vicky) and Yolanda Rideout (Eric); his grandchildren, Lori, Michelle, Yvonne, Melissa and Lukas; and his siblings, Violet Burt, Woodrow (Lillian) and Rayfield (Michelle). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, many other family members, in-laws, and special friends.
