He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Hopkins and Sarah Jane Hopkins; his daughter Carol Eddy; and his grandson Corey Eddy. He is survived by: his wife Lizzie; his children, Gary (Louise), Lloyd (Elizabeth), Karen Delaney (Joey) and Roy (Melissa); his son-in-law Steve Eddy; his grandchildren, Bradley, Jason, Jamie, Rodney, Phillip, Michael, Rebecca, Jenna and Kristen; and his sister Ruby Riggs (Melvin).
Resting at Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale with visitation on Monday, November 22, 2021 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. and on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. in accordance with COVID 19 restrictions and protocols with NL VaxPass required for entrance. Funeral service on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm. at Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale in accordance with COVID 19 restrictions and protocols with NL VaxPass required for attendance.
