She was predeceased by: her husband Otto; her grandson Brandon Harris; her great grandchild Winnie Bird; her parents, Walter Thomas and Florence Thomas; her sisters, Florence Matthews, Emily Jane Bird and Loretta Mercer; her nephew Denis; and her nieces, Wanda Mansfield and Louise Eddy.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Bird (Sam), Carol Ash (Eldred), Randy (Doreen), Ted (Zelda), Kevin (Karen), Darrin (Colleen) and Shawn (Susanne); her sister Ruby Johnson; her grandchildren, Lisa Green (Rodney), Curtis Ash (Jennifer), Jonathon Bird (Alyson), Matthew Bird (Mary), Todd Harris (Jennifer), Trevor Harris (Lara), Ashley D'Amico (Dennis), Travis Harris (Keisha), Blair Harris (Dawn) and Benjamin Harris; and her great grandchildren, Jacey, Neely Bird, Milo, Marcellus Bird, Riley, Adrian Green, Brooke, Ellie Harris, Sam, Olivia D'Amico and Amelia Harris. She is also survived by sister and brothers in law; nieces, nephews and long time friends.
Flowers are graciously accepted or in lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made in Mom's memory to Brownsdale United Church Memorial Fund, Brownsdale.
